- Stuffed Courgette Flowers
- 2 tbs ricotta cheese
- 1 tbs grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tbs chopped fresh herbs
Stuff a tbs of mixture into a courgette flower folding over petals to close
Make any batter – I use fizzy water and self raising flour mixed to a cream like consistency. Dip flowers in the batter and deep fry.
You can also use this stuffing for filling little pointed peppers – roast them at about 140 for 20 min
Put them on a sunny windowsill in a bowl with a few ripe tomatoes and/or bananas. The ripe fruit give off ethanol which will ripen the green fruit.
