Companion planting is a method of growing two or more different plants together for the effect they have on the crop you wish to nurture. It is mainly carried out in the vegetable garden to control pests, to attract pollinating insects and to improve the growth of plants.

Here’s a link from Susan who says  “I find it particularly useful for an organic plot where you have to be careful what you put onto the plants and ground.”
